Genius Prep Academy is operated by Edbridge Scholars. This explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect

  • Account details — your name, email address and profile picture, received from Google when you sign in. We never receive your Google password.
  • Learning activity — which lessons you have completed, so we can show your progress and resume where you left off.
  • Purchases — what you bought, the amount, and a reference from the payment provider.

What we don't collect

We never see your card number, mobile wallet PIN or banking credentials. Those go directly to SSLCommerz. Because sign-in is through Google, most accounts have no password stored with us at all.

Why we hold it

To give you access to what you bought, to save your progress, to send purchase receipts and service messages, and to keep records of transactions as any business must.

Who we share it with

  • Google — authentication only.
  • SSLCommerz — payment processing. They receive your name and email to process the transaction.
  • Supabase — our database host, storing account, progress and order records.
  • Vercel — hosting and delivery of the site.
  • Bunny.net — video delivery.
  • Meta (Facebook) — we use the Meta Pixel to measure how well our advertising works. It records that a visit, sign-up or purchase happened, and Meta may match this to a Facebook or Instagram account. You can limit this in your Facebook ad settings, or by using a browser or extension that blocks such trackers.
  • Vercel Analytics — cookieless page-view counts. It does not identify individuals.
  • Resend — sends your purchase receipts.

We do not sell your data. Beyond measuring our own advertising as described above, we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Account and progress data is kept while your account exists. Transaction records are kept longer, as financial records require.

Your choices

Email sat.edbridge@gmail.com to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and progress; anonymised transaction records are retained for accounting.

Children

Our students are often school age. We collect no more from a younger student than an adult, and nothing beyond what is described above. If you are a parent and want your child's data removed, email us and we will do it.
